Brother to Bentley, son to Levi&Aussie, grandson to Michael, Lily, Andrew and Julia. Nephew to Chris, Skye, Rebecca, Hailey, Kirsten, Ana, Will, Alexis and Sophia. Cousin to Isla, Kyte and Halee.
I was in labor for 24 hours. It sucked. :l Especially without the epidural! But I don't regret not getting one - recovery was so much smoother, and I felt myself again almost right away. Plus it was so much more rewarding just to know that I did it without pain medications. :)
Rafe is a fairly calm baby - for now! He's asleep (he seems to do nothing but sleep!) at the moment, thank goodness. So is Bentley. I think Bentley is adjusting fairly well. We got home today at about 4:30pm. I'm happy to have been able to go home so soon, as well.
I'm pretty sore right now, but otherwise I'm feeling fairly good. It's weird to say Rafe's name, because I'm just not used to having two kids! Haha. Levi was really wanting a girl, but I'm glad it was a boy. He's the sweetest thing, and that way he'll have a big brother to look up to. And if we have a girl someday, she'll have two big brothers to look out for her. :)
I'm just super exhausted, but I feel like I can't fall asleep!
I can't even believe I'm on the computer... I think I'm addicted.
I'm also STARVING.
And that show Storage Wards is actually interesting. They just sold this locker for over 4,000 dollars... WTF?
Anyways.
Sigh.

I apologize.
I'm so sorry (especially to Tahnee!) that I'm such a loser for slacking on my blog. :)
There's not a whole lot to write about though! Baby still isn't here. I've still got tons to do before the baby comes. I haven't gotten much farther on Christmas decorating. I haven't done ANYTHING on Christmas shopping. I'm an AWFUL gift giver, so we'll see what awful gifts I decide on this year. :l Anywayssss. Not a whole lot to say. I wish it would get colder out, it's winter for God's sake.
I also want a hippopotamus for Christmas. And only a hippopotamus will do. ;)

I'm having a feeling that labor is coming pretty soon. I'm hoping to hold out one more week until 37 weeks to be officially "full term" and I might even like if I could actually make it all the way to 40 weeks but oh well. :l
I've been having A LOT of BHs, and I passed my mucus plug. The baby "dropped" and now I get to waddle around with a bowling ball between my legs. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay.
There's still a lot to do, though. I still have to put all of his/her clothes away as well as wash them, pack my hospital bag, figure out where Bentley is going to go, plan meals for the first week back, clean the house so I'm slightly less stressed, finish unpacking everything, and put up Christmas decorations (because God knows I won't want to after the baby is here.)
Soooooo yeah. I'll let ya'll know whenever anything happens. :)

Thanksgiving!
Well it was wonderful. :)
We had a bit more people than expected, because Levi's grandparents drove down. But the more, the merrier!
In total, we had 20 people, including Levi, Bentley and I. My parents, Levi's mom, Levi's grandparents, my sister, her husband and their 3 kids, Levi's 3 sisters and his sister Rebecca's fiance Skye. My brother and two other sisters. So it was a pretty full house! But we had so much good food. Turkey, deviled eggs, homemade noodles, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy, rolls. And then for dessert we had fudge, pumpkin squares, pecan pie and chocolate chip pie. We all ate very well. :) It was absolutely great to have everybody together. Seeing Isla, my niece who was born in June, made me excited for that little baby thing. I missed when Bentley just sat in my arms and didn't try to get into everything! Meeting Rebecca's fiance Skye was great. He's a charmer, and we're all pretty excited for them! They're too sweet together. I've really missed being at home. Alexis is getting beautiful. My little 13 year old sister is really starting to become a woman, and that makes me nervous! I don't want her getting into bad things. But I'm confident that Will will keep his eye on her. :) And missing Sophia growing up kind of sucks too, but I guess it just shows that now I'm going to have to spend more time with them. I mean, they only live what, 15, 20 minutes away? I don't have any excuses as to why I don't see them often.
But anyways. I'm really excited for Christmas, now that it's officially Christmas season. :) We've got the tree up, but we still haven't decorated it yet. It's pretty big - I think it's a 10 foot tree? It's fake so Bentley won't get into it. And we'll just have to be mindful of the ornaments we put at the bottom. It'll be weird to have him as a 17 month old this Christmas. Last year he was only 5 months! Couldn't really get into much. Now he's walking, talking, doing all these silly things. I honestly don't think I'm going to get him many toys, etc. He hardly plays with the ones we do have! He just gets into cabinets and plays with pots and pans. Heck, he plays with Rebel's toys more than he does his own! And Rebel plays more with Bentley's toys often. Haha.
Well it's quite late, and after a long day of shopping (got most of my Christmas shopping done and surprisingly really did get great deals!) I'm ready for bed. :)

Not feeling too great!
Well last night I wasn't feeling well, and I'm still not feeling all that great. I have a pounding headache, and my stomach hurts, and I'm having BHs pretty bad. :l This really just is NOT fun, and I'm ready for this baby to be out now!
Bentley I think has another ear infection. I think Levi and I are going to ask the doctor about putting tubes in his ears, because it's just too much! He has them ALL the time. It's really awful to see him sick all the time! I hate it. :/
Speaking of Mr. Bentley. :) At almost 17 months old, he's walking, talking. We're still rear facing but I think once he's close to or at the age of 2 we'll probably front face.
In other news,
Levi is on his way home from work so we can start cooking for Thanksgiving.

Weather.
Anybody want to tell me why in the world it's 80 degrees in November?! It's winter, people. GET THE MEMO. :l Well obviously it's not officially winter... But it's close enough and I'm TIRED of the heat. :(
Anyways. I tend to use that word quite often.
I'm actually fairly nervous about this whole baby thing. I still need to finish the baby's room. We need to arrange the furniture and I still haven't even gotten some things that we need. I haven't even had a baby shower! Guess I won't be having one, haha. Oh well. But anyway(there I go again!). We've got final 4 names for each gender. :)
